Access @ the Ashland Mission

Every Sunday evening our folks at the Ashland Mission in Madison County host a worship service for college aged adults called Access. Even member of the mission is called upon to serve at Access for the sake of the gospel. The worship is Christ-centered including powerful preaching of God’s word and various testimonies of how the gospel of the Kingdom is moving in our lives and around the world. Access begins at 7p.m. each Sunday at Richmond Area Arts Council (399 a Water Street Richmond Ky) Follow access on twitter and facebook.

On January 30th in our am service we will officially launch our site with a totally new look. The new site will also have a variety of new components that will help you experience Ashland on the web. Make sure to check out the work of Aaron Boeving our web designer.

Equipped Wednesdays – January 19th

January 10th, 2011

Equipped Wednesday begins on January 19th at 5:30 p.m. with a Family Meal. Along with our Journey (kids) and Veritas (students) ministry activities, we have a variety of opportunities for ministry and transformation that begin each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

They include:

  • Community Bible Study – Pastor Jeremy Haskins will be teaching through the book of Matthew in a study called Kingdom First.
  • Gospel In Life by Tim Keller – an study on how the gospel affects every area of life. This study is DVD driven and will be led by Jonathon McGuire
  • Women’s Transformation Bible Study – Elise Fitzpatrick’s Idols of the Heart
  • Spiritual Disciplines – A focus on the practice of Bible Study, Prayer and Evangelism. This study will be led by Tony Wells
  • International Refugee Ministry – Each Wednesday a group of folks from AABC teach a group of refugees English, while building relationships for the sake of the gospel. This is a great opportunity to experience cross-cultural mission work right here in Lexington.

Access in Madison County

The Ashland Mission of Madison County will be officially launching our Access service on October 10, 2010. Access is a Christ-centered worship service for college students and young adults that includes the ministry and hospitality of the whole body of Christ.

Beginning on October 17th Access will meet each Sunday evening at 7p.m. The Ashland Mission of Madison County meets at 399 A West Water Street Richmond Kentucky.
